Textile artist and educator with a passion for craft, heritage and sustainable fashion.
Born and raised in southern Brazil, I developed my foundation in textile arts through the guidance of my grandmothers. My art practice centres on fabric, thread, and found materials, using techniques like embroidery an fabric manipulation to explore the feminine experience and the transformations women undergo.
I have been an educator for 13 years in fashion and design programs in Brazil and Canada. My fashion practice has evolved to focus on the research and exploration of possibilities within sustainable fashion and pattern making.
